TAMPA, Florida -- Sometimes things really are bigger in Texas, like the goal scoring in Major Arena Soccer League Women action  this past weekend as the league's two Dallas based teams pumped in a combined 25 goals to score triumphs and stay atop the South Division standings.

RPFC won its fourth game in four starts by tuning back the Houston Bolt 14-5, and Texas Lone Star, newcomers to the league in 2025-26,had plenty of reasons for big smiles in their high-energy 11-8 win over Austin 512 FC.

Detroit City FC went on the road to defeat the Columbus Eagles, and the Iowa Demon Hawks turned back a determined KS Astras squad. Cincinnati got a road win in Akron, Ohio, against Susserfuss Ballverein and the Wichita Lady Luck went on the road to outpace the OKC Ghosts.

Week 8 coming up will see the final debut of another of the new teams this year -- Atletico Monterrey -- as the Houston Bolt will travel to Mexico for back-to-back games. Speaking of double dips, the Omaha Queens will host the Iowa Demon Hawks for a pair, Louisville will look to stay undefeated on the road against Susserfuss, Austin and the Houston Indoor Club will meet in Houston, and the Luck and Ghosts will rematch in Wichita.
