TAMPA, Florida -- It didn't take Detroit City FC long to start a new winning streak, one of several highlights from Week 6 action in Major Arena Soccer League Women this past weekend.

"Le Rouge" as they are know to their passionate fan base lost their first ever regular season MASL W game last week to FC Berlin in suburban Toronto, but got revenge on their Canadian visitors in a home rematch at Detroit City Fieldhouse, 6-4. The two teams are tied atop the Great Lakes North division, with six points each, although Detroit has a game in hand.

Two teams in the Heartland Division continue their marked improvement from a year ago as well. The Tulsa FC Channel Cats are now 3-0 on the season -- after going 2-8 in 2024-25 -- with a win over the OKC Ghosts. And the Wichita Aero are 3-2 this winter, after going winless a season ago, with their win over Side FC OKC Cyclones.

The Columbus Eagles got into the win column too with a big win against the Youngstown Nighthawks, and the Wichita Lady Luck split a pair of weekend games, falling to the ICT Aztecs but beating OKC who played back-to-back games. The Houston Bolt also opened their 2025-26 campaign with a win over Austin 512 FC.

Week Seven promises lots of intrigue as well, including seven games in total in Columbus, Des Moines, Toronto, Dallas, Oklahoma City and Akron, Ohio.
