MASL W welcomes international Mexican standout Sofia Ochoa to Texas Lone Star
CARROLLTON, Texas, -- Texas Lone Star S.C. has announced the arrival of their latest addition to their squad, Mexican international forward Sofía Ochoa, a dynamic, multi-position player with professional experience across North America, Mexico, the Middle East, and Australia.
Ochoa joins the club adding elite pedigree, versatility, and adding additional experience to the Lone Star roster.
A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Ochoa brings nearly a decade of high-level competition experience, including time with Rayadas de Monterrey and Santos Laguna Femenil in Liga MX Femenil, where she competed in championship environments and appeared in historic, record-setting matches.
Her professional résumé also includes international stops with Angel City 7s at TST, Houston Aces in the Women's Premier Soccer League, Eastern Flames in Saudi Arabia’s top women’s division, and Virginia United FC in Australia’s FQPL 1.

Ochoa has also competed extensively in national and international tournaments, earning multiple first-place finishes in U.S. and international competitions and training alongside Mexico’s indoor national team. Her experience in both indoor and outdoor formats aligns well with Lone Star’s fast, high-tempo style of play.
