Louisville's Lauren Landry, Lone Stars Terrie Tchoffo honored as Players of the Week

TAMPA, Florida -- Lauren Landry of the Louisville Triumph and Terrie Tchoffo of Texas Lone Star have been selected as the Major Arena Soccer League Women Offensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week honorees respectively. 

Landry was a key offensive cog as Louisville defeated Detroit City FC, handing "Le Rouge" just their second regular season loss in two years. Landry had two goals and two assists to pace the 9-7 win for Louisville, who has lost just one this year, that to Detroit the week prior on the road by an identical 9-7 score.  Coming into the weekend, she had appeared in four games, with one goal and two assists on the season.

Tchoffo helped Texas Lone Star to a sweep of weekend games, as she was both busy and brilliant in goal. In a 5-1 win over Austin 512 FC, she recorded 30 saves in allowing just the one goal. She followed that with a 31-save effort on the road, allowing just three goals, in a 5-3 win over the Houston Bolt, She is a native of Fort Worth.
