FIve playoff teams set, Wichita showdown will help decide final team in

TAMPA, Florida -- Five teams have already qualified for Major Arena Soccer League Women's Championship Weekend in Des Moines, Iowa, coming up March 28-30, with a Wichita showdown this weekend set to decide the final team in.

Detroit City FC, with a perfect 10-0 regular season, will be the No. 1 seed, and get a first-round bye. Other teams in: the Cincinnati Sirens, Chihuahua Savage. Dallas RPFC and the host Iowa Demon Hawks. The rest of the seedings will be decided this coming weekend. Iowa will be the No. 6 seed and will play one of two Friday quarterfinal games.

The biggest game this coming weekend is in Wichita, where the Aztecs control their own destiny, as does the Wichita Lady Luck. Those two teams will meet Friday in Wichita in a home start for the Aztecs. Should the Lady Luck win, they will win the Heartland Division regular season title and advance. The Aztecs would win the division with a regulation time win Friday and a regulation time win again Saturday at home against the Oklahoma Oblivion.
