TAMPA, Florida --Even though there's still two games to be played to end the 2025-26 season, the teams heading to the Major Arena Soccer League Playoffs are mostly set and will travel to the Detroit City Fieldhouse for quarterfinals play which starts March 20. Semifinal games will be March 21 with the championship finals set for Sunday afternoon, March 22.

Division winners who automatically qualified include host Detroit City FC, the Louisville Triumph, ICT (Wichita) Aztecs, Iowa Demon Hawks and Dallas RPFC. Two of the three wildcard teams who earned their way in as the best second place teams are FC Berlin out of Canada, the Cincinnati Sirens. Right now, Texas Lone Star has the eighth spot. Omaha is still alive, and will need two road wins over the undefeated Iowa Demon Hawks. They have defeated the Queens in two previous matchups, 15-5 and 13-6.

All the final maneuvering was completed this past weekend with FCB Berlin turning back a strong challenge from Susserfuss Ballverein, Louisville's win over Cincinnati, RPFC's win over Texas Lone Star, and Detroit's second straight shutout win, this one over the Columbus Eagles.

In addition, the Aztecs completed a perfect regular season, one of two teams to have a chance to complete that feat. The Iowa Demon Hawks are 8-0 and have two remaining games next weekend to end the regular season against the Omaha Queens. They defeated the KS Astras this past weekend, and Susserfuss got a win against Youngstown along with the Wichita Aero finishing at 6-3-1 after an 0-10 finish a year ago as they handled the OKC Ghosts.
