Columbus Eagles get big effort at both ends to earn Week 13 league honors
TAMPA, Florida -- The Columbus Eagles got big performances at both ends of the floor this past weekend to earn Angela Boyce the Offensive Player of the Week honors and netminder Liv Alford Goalkeeper of the Week honors for Major Arena Soccer League Women week 13 play.
Boyce had a hand in half of the Eagles goal in their biggest offensive output of the season as she scored three goals and assisted on two others in a 10-1 win. She had seven goals in her 10 games last year, and has five goals in her seven starts in 2025-26.
Liv Alford often splits time in goal with Brianna Rogers, as she did in this win. Alford was credited with 13 saves in picking up the win, her second of the season. She is a homegrown talent, a graduate of Coffman High School in suburban Columbus, and played collegiately for Capital University where she posted eight shutouts in her senior season.
